Napoli had a great chance to equalize, with a provisional 1-0, when they had a penalty in their favor in 80, but Lorenzo Insigne missed his shot.
It is the ninth ‘Supercoppa’ that Juventus has conquered, thus extending its advantage in the record of this competition. Second is AC Milan, with seven.
Napoli have played four, with two titles – the last one in 2014 – and now two losses. All of them have been with duels against Juventus.

This duel in Reggio Emilia meant the return of the Italian Super Cup to the national territory, in times of the covid-19 pandemic, after two years in which it was played in Saudi Arabia.
In the last edition, in Riyadh, Juventus had lost 3-1 to Lazio, so now he was able to win back the trophy.
Regarding Naples, the ‘Vecchia Signora’ takes a small revenge for the defeat suffered against that team in the final of the last Italian Cup, in July 2020, when the Turinese lost on penalties (4-2 after a 0-0 draw).
