Crete: Tragic death on a liner – 2024-04-09 12:17:39

A 53-year-old man breathed his last on the Piraeus-Souda ferry he was traveling with.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning 06/4, when crew members found the unfortunate man dead in the ship’s living room.

Initially, according to the local website cretapost.gr, they thought he was sleeping and went to wake him up to inform him that they had arrived in Souda.

The body of the unfortunate man was taken to the Chania Hospital for an autopsy, while the preliminary investigation into the causes of death is being conducted by the Port Authority of Chania.
