From today, after a temporary technical slowdown due to a “realignment” of the information systems that caused the effective start of the measure to be postponed by three days, citizens can carry out affiliated pharmacies the rapid nasal antigen test (quick swab) and the serological test al price controlled by 15 euros.

In addition to the possibility for anyone to carry out, without a prescription, the rapid nasal antigen test (rapid swab) and the serological test in affiliated pharmacies at a controlled price, the audience of recipients of the voluntary and free screening campaign of the Region through the quick swab at the pharmacy and reduced the interval to be able to make the free swab again from 30 to 15 days.

Free swabs to more categories and more often
In addition to the categories of citizens who are already entitled to the free rapid swab educators who work in contact with young and very young people, instructors and coaches of youth sports clubs, third sector volunteers who assist lonely elderly people or people with disabilities, family caregivers who take care of lonely or disabled elderly people.
Not only that: it is established that certain groups of people already involved in screening – and precisely schoolchildren and students (from 0 to 18 years, and adults if they attend upper secondary school), university students, students of VET programs, school staff of the institutes of every order and grade and of the educational services 0-3 years old and personnel of the training and professional education institutions -, will be able to repeat the rapid swab in the pharmacy, again at the expense of the regional health service, every 15 days.
For the other categories, the frequency to take the free test remains monthly.
