From the Santa Cruz Headquarters they reported that this Thursday, July 28, the department had 1,428 new positive cases of covid-19. At the same time, 1,296 people recovered.

The death of two people, as a consequence of the virus, was also regrettable. The two deceased were people over 60 years of age who did not have any doses of the vaccines.
