Santa Cruz Construction Workers Enhance Safety Skills in New Training Program
Pico Truncado, Santa Cruz - Over 120 construction workers in Pico Truncado received critical training in safety and hygiene protocols on October 2nd, bolstering a provincial initiative aimed at improving worker safety and employability. The training, focused on the proper construction and use of personal protection elements (PPE), was delivered by María Isabel Acosta, General Director of Labour Police south Zone, too 126 members of the UOCRA guild.
The program is a key component of the Santa Cruz Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security’s broader labor training program – a public policy designed to promote enduring employment and enhance the skills of the province’s workforce. Officials state the initiative seeks to strengthen worker competencies and ensure labor suitability through ongoing professional advancement.
This latest training underscores a commitment to fostering safer and more responsible work environments within the construction sector, equipping workers with the knowledge and tools necessary to mitigate risks and prioritize well-being on the jobsite.
