Colima reports 8 new infections by Covid-19 in the last hours

Health Sector Institutions report that eight new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the state of Colima this Thursday, reaching 52,134 accumulated positives for this cause. The Secretary of Health of the Government of the State of Colima reports that there were no deaths from coronavirus; the figure remains at 2,397 deaths.

Three women between 23 and 34 years of age, receive outpatient care, after testing positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus; two reside in Villa de Álvarez and one in the municipality of Colima. Five men were diagnosed positive, are between the ages of 11 and 60, and all receive outpatient care. Four are from Villa de Álvarez and one from Tecomán.

The Ministry of Health points out that given the low level of risk (green epidemic traffic light), It is mandatory to wear a face mask, keep a distance of at least two meters between people, avoid crowds, opt for ventilated spaces and fundamentally get vaccinated against Covid-19.
