9h14 – EasyJet announces resumption of some flights on June 15th
UK airline EasyJet announced today that it will resume flights on June 15, suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The initial schedule will mainly include domestic flights in the UK and France” and the number of flights will be reduced, the airline said in a statement.
EasyJet added that more routes will be announced in the coming weeks, “as customer demand increases and blocking measures across Europe are eased.”
Sanitary measures will be reinforced, the press guaranteed, in the same note.
Customers, flight attendants, pilots and the ground crew must wear masks, aircraft cleaning and disinfection will be reinforced, there will be “disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer on board” and there will be no food service on board, explained the company.

9h05 – DGS publishes manual with rules for schools and daycare centers
The Directorate-General for Health published the manual “Health and daily activities”Where the Covid-19 prevention and control measures are presented in educational establishments, namely in the return to the 11th and 12th grade face-to-face classes and in nurseries and childcare centers.
In relation to secondary education, among the norms is “the organization of students in groups”, the “definition of circuits of inputs and outputs in the classroom”, the “spacing between students and teachers” who must “keep the minimum distance from 1.5 to 2 meters ”.
The need for “personal and environmental hygiene”, the “use of a mask” is recalled. And additionally hand hygiene at the entrance and exit ”. The standard also defends that “access doors are kept open”.
For day care centers and nurseries, DGS establishes “the maximization of spacing between children, including during meals”, the organization of “children and educators in fixed rooms” and the “delivery of children to the institution’s door”.
In the activity room, “each child must always use the same crib or deck chair” and “footwear must remain at the entrance”.

8:47 am – Russia surpasses the three thousand death barrier
The official number of Covid-19 deaths in Russia has risen to 3,099, after 127 more people have died in the past 24 hours.
A further 8,849 confirmed cases were also reported, bringing the total number to 317,554.

8:30 am – More than five million cases worldwide
The total number of confirmed cases worldwide is now 5,000,038, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. 328,172 people died.
Covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan, China, in late December.
In the last 24 hours, 106,000 new cases were confirmed – the maximum in a single day, which led the World Health Organization to warn that the pandemic was far from over.
The United States is the country with the most confirmed cases, with 1,551,853.

8:15 am – Germany with 176,752 infected and 8,147 dead
The Robert Koch Institute has revealed that in the past 24 hours, an additional 745 cases of infection have been confirmed in Germany, bringing the number of infected people to 176,752.
57 more people died, now there are 8,147 fatalities.

8:00 am – China records two new cases in the last 24 hours
China has diagnosed, in the last 24 hours, two new cases of Covid-19, authorities said today, on the tenth consecutive day that the daily sum of infections in the country remains below ten.
The China Health Commission said it had identified a case with local origin, until 11:59 pm on Wednesday (4:59 pm in Lisbon), in Shanghai, China’s financial ‘capital’.
The other case comes from abroad and was diagnosed in Guangdong, the province adjacent to Macau.
Health officials also reported that five patients were discharged in the past 24 hours, so the number of infected people active in the Asian country stood at 84, including eight in a condition considered serious.
According to official data, since the beginning of the pandemic, China has registered 82,967 infected and 4,634 dead due to Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus. So far, 78,249 people have been discharged.
Chinese authorities reported that 740,967 people who had close contact with infected people were under medical surveillance in China, 4,864 of whom remain under observation.
