Circulation of Covid-19 in Mayenne remains stable and still a bit high, according to figures released by Pays de la Loire Regional Health Agency (ARS), this Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
The incidence rate in Mayenne is 96.3 per 100,000 inhabitants (122.5 per 100,000 for those over 65). It was 111 per 100,000 inhabitants, Friday February 26, 2021.
The positivity rate is down very slightly to 5% (5.8% among those over 65), against 5.3% last Friday.
Four more deaths linked to Covid since Friday
In the department, 59 people are still hospitalized, including 5 in intensive care. Four people have died since Friday’s assessment, bringing the number of victims in Mayenne to 230 since the start of the epidemic.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 25,658 people received at least one dose of vaccine in the department, or 1,424 more since Friday.
