There are 28 new cases of Covid19 in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Of these 9 are migrants and 19 Sicilians. Cases are back in Catania, ten more in the last 24 hours. In Ragusa there are three. In Enna there are six positives all migrants. In Messina one more positive as in Palermo. Here the positive is a migrant. In Caltanissetta two more positives and they are migrants. While in Syracuse there are five positives and all Sicilians. There are no new admissions or increases in intensive care. (ALL UPDATES)

There are 28 new cases of Covid19 in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Of these 9 are migrants and 19 Sicilians. Cases are back in Catania, ten more in the last 24 hours. In Ragusa there are three. In Enna there are six positives all migrants. In Messina one more positive as in Palermo. Here the positive is a migrant. In Caltanissetta two more positives and they are migrants. These are the data communicated by the regional system to the Civil Protection and made known through the daily report of the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health.

17:44 – Other 5 cases in Ragusa: 19 positive

Five new cases of covid in the Ragusa area, compared to yesterday, which increase the total number to 19 positive in a few days. The infected are 3 boys who have had contact with the group of friends of the engaged couple from Modica who were positive at the time and in isolation in their respective holiday homes in Sampieri, a seaside village of Scicli. The exponential growth of infections has alarmed the population and some mayors of Ragusa are considering suspending the summer events.
