There are 28 new cases of Covid19 in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Of these 9 are migrants and 19 Sicilians. Cases are back in Catania, ten more in the last 24 hours. In Ragusa there are three. In Enna there are six positives all migrants. In Messina one more positive as in Palermo. Here the positive is a migrant. In Caltanissetta two more positives and they are migrants. While in Syracuse there are five positives and all Sicilians. There are no new admissions or increases in intensive care. (ALL UPDATES)

There are 28 new cases of Covid19 in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Of these 9 are migrants and 19 Sicilians. Cases are back in Catania, ten more in the last 24 hours. In Ragusa there are three. In Enna there are six positives all migrants. In Messina one more positive as in Palermo. Here the positive is a migrant. In Caltanissetta two more positives and they are migrants. While in Syracuse there are five positives and all Sicilians. There are no new admissions or increases in intensive care. These are the data communicated by the regional system to the Civil Protection and made known through the daily report of the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health.
17:44 – Other 5 cases in Ragusa: 19 positive
Five new cases of covid in the Ragusa area, compared to yesterday, which increase the total number to 19 positive in a few days. The infected are 3 boys who have had contact with the group of friends of the engaged couple from Modica who were positive at the time and in isolation in their respective holiday homes in Sampieri, a seaside village of Scicli. Pending further swabs in progress, it is feared that there is an outbreak in the coastal fraction. Another case concerns a programmed swab referring to a person who arrived in Sicily and who has duly registered. Finally, the fifth case concerns a woman from Modica totally unrelated to the cases of the other currently positive Modicans. The exponential growth of infections has alarmed the population and some mayors of Ragusa are considering suspending the summer events.
10:06 – Migrants, from Nisseno to Palermo eight positive at Covid-19
The Italian Red Cross carried out the transfer of the eight migrants who tested positive for Coronavirus who were in a separate wing of the Cara di Pian del Lago di Caltanissetta to a facility in the province of Palermo where they can continue their mandatory quarantine. The Prefecture of Caltanissetta has made it known that the swabs carried out by the operators of the reception center and the men of the police are all negative. As a precaution, on Monday the ASP of Caltanissetta will carry out a new examination of the nasopharyngeal swab to all guests of the Cara.

There are 27 new cases of Covid-19 in Sicily in the last 24 hours. Fourteen are migrants and 13 are Sicilians. In Ragusa the peak with 16 positives of which 13 migrants. In Catania there are six other positives. In Messina there are three positives while one Palermo. Finally the last one in Caltanissetta and is a migrant. 3,400 swabs were performed and there are no new admissions or increases in intensive care.
