While, the total deaths amounted to 125 with the death of a 70-year-old woman from the Ponce region that was reported through the Demographic Registry.

Health also adjusted the number of deaths confirmed by the Surveillance System and those certified by the Demographic Register to 59 and 66, respectively, after “analyzing and evaluating the cases.”

“The fatality added through the Demographic Registry increases the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 125, between confirmed and probable cases. Likewise, a duplicate positive case was identified by means of molecular testing, which resulted in the reduction of one case under that line, “the agency detailed in a press release.
