The EFS is looking for volunteers.

We often tell you about it on Info Tours: there is a lack of blood donations in Indre-et-Loire, especially in times of health crisis. Recently, the Hôtel de Ville de Tours hosted a large fundraising campaign which worked well, but not as much as in periods outside the health crisis. The regular meetings organized at the EFS des Deux-Lions or in other municipalities are also insufficient. We must therefore regularly remind the needs with massive events.
This is precisely what will happen on June 11, 12 and 14 in the former Mame printing house in Tours: the City of Creation and Innovation will then host the annual Mon Sang pour les Autres event. 600 donors are expected in 3 days.
For this to happen in the best possible way, the French Blood Establishment needs reinforcements.
The institution therefore calls for volunteers: “This is a major event fundraiser for Touraine. Volunteers will help the EFS to publicize the fundraising, but also to support donors in the different stages of their donation journey: reception, awareness, support for donors, help with snacking, etc. It is an enriching human experience that can be done according to the availability of each! “ can we read in the text explaining the process.
