Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealed the details of a health crisis he experienced as a result of a medical error that occurred during a surgical operation.
He explained that the sports file was one of the files that greatly affected his health, and during his meeting with the journalist Ammar Taqi, he said: “In 2018, I underwent surgery abroad and a medical error occurred.”

He explained: “I had a large wound on my body for approximately 50 days. The wound did not heal and was bleeding daily. I remember that he asked me not to return to the Kingdom until I recovered.”
Then he continued: “But I returned at that time with all shame and sympathy and tried to ask Prince Mohammed bin Salman to forgive me and submit to my Lord a request for an exemption due to my health conditions.”
He continued: “The first time I was rejected, and a month later my health was deteriorating and I considered myself negligent. I asked him a second time and he said one sentence: It is good, God willing, knowledge will come to you.”
He added: “This talk was possible at noon, and on the second day in the evening, the dismissal decision was issued and I was assigned to be appointed to the Entertainment Authority.”
