Costa Tropical: This is how the coastal beaches are prepared to receive the first bathers | Radio Motril

The municipalities of the coast of Granada are preparing to open their beaches to the bathroom at the beginning of next week, once Granada has managed to move to phase 2 of the de-escalation plan, although most will wait until the first half of June to the official opening of the summer season with the launch of all services.

Motril will allow citizens to swim from next Tuesday the 2nd. The start-up of services, such as showers, toilets and footbaths, is scheduled for the 13th and the lifeguard service will be active from July 1.

In Almuñécar, the beaches will open to the bathroom next Monday, June 1. The rescue operation, made up of 35 lifeguards, will be at the posts on June 12 or 19, depending on the technical part.

Another important date will be June 15, which is when the arrival of the contingent that will be sent by the Junta de Andalucía through the Employment Plan is expected. Specifically, there will be 79 beach assistants who will be on the sexitana coast to collaborate with the Local Police in the tasks of control and information to bathers about the capacity.

At the entrances to the sand there will be signage about these measures and the use to be made of the beaches, while the reinforcement staff of the Board will also do information work so that the lifeguards hired by the City Council can continue doing their work without another distraction.

Along with this, the City Council is waiting for the authorization of the Government delegation in Andalusia for the placement of the panels with the security cameras and the public address system.

Also the beach of Torrenueva Costa will open to the bathroom between Monday and Tuesday of next week. The town will have more than twenty beach helpers and 40,000 euros for sanitary supplies.
