Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp wants to solve Liverpool’s defensive problems in the winter transfer window. The club has since registered with Ajax in front of Perr Schuurs. The Reds are said to have made an offer of about thirty million euros in Amsterdam.

The situation of Liverpool is well known: Virgil van Dijk is out for a long time with a cruciate ligament injury, Joe Gomez is not fit and the other defenders are also having a hard time. Klopp hopes to get a solution with Schuurs and is said to have enough of the amount of thirty million euros offered, so that Schuurs can make the switch in January.
According to the Italian newspaper, Schuurs’ physique is reminiscent of Matthijs de Ligt, who is now causing a furore at Juventus. The young defender still has to endure a lot of criticism in the Dutch media, but he looks very good abroad. Schuurs played in twelve official Ajax matches this season.
