We have certain treatments which seem, according to studies which are only at their beginning, to limit the gravity or the duration of the disease but we have nothing yet which can kill or stop the virus
said WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris at a press briefing.

So far, none of the potential treatments has proven effective against this virus that appeared in China in December before spreading to more than 200 countries around the world. WHO warned in April that a vaccine should not be expected before at least 12 months
