According to Joe Bilen, 40% of world leaders call him asking for help with coronavirus vaccines.
“I literally call 40% of the world’s leaders and ask if we can help them … We’re going to try,” Biden said.
At the same time, Biden noted that the United States prioritizes vaccination of Americans, but will try to help other countries that cannot provide the population with vaccines.
“I think we can produce a huge amount of vaccines that we can make available,” Biden said.
The American president did not specify which particular countries’ leaders approached him with this request.
