The corona crisis in Germany continues to worsen. The number of cases in NRW and Germany is increasing. Not all citizens adhere to the requirement to avoid larger groups of people and to stay at home if possible. In Bavaria the city of Mitterteich imposes one near the Czech border Curfew.
In a TV address in the evening she swore Chancellor the Germans on difficult weeks and months on. Merkel appealed to all citizens to strictly adhere to the rules and instructions. The Chancellor envisages Germany the biggest challenge since the end of World War II.
To Italy is now Spain most affected by the pandemic. Almost 14,000 tested positive here, almost 600 people died. The Madrid region is worst affected. Germany tightened the situation again in the late afternoon Entry requirements for EU citizens.
