Coronavirus Toscana, the new data: ten positive, no deaths – Chronicle

Florence, 25 July 2020 – In Tuscany there are 10,415 cases of positivity at Coronavirus, ten more than yesterday. The new cases are 0.1% more than the total of the previous day. The healed grow by 0.02% and reach 8,941 (85.8% of the total cases).

The swabs performed reached 407,195, 2,846 more than yesterday. The currently positive are 343 today, + 2.4% compared to yesterday. Today there are no new deaths.

These are the figures – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of the requests of the National Civil Protection – relating to the trend of the epidemic in the region.

The new cases in Florence, Pistoia, Lucca, Livorno and Arezzo

Below are the cases of positivity in the area with the change compared to yesterday. There are 3,250 total cases to date in Florence (4 more than yesterday), 552 in Prato, 754 a Pistoia (2 more), 1,056 a Massa, 1,376 a Lucca (2 more), 944 in Pisa, 484 a Livorno (1 more), 691 ad Arezzo (1 more), 429 in Siena, 408 in Grosseto.

There are 471 positive cases reported in Tuscany, but residing in other regions. 6 more then the cases found today in the Central ASL, 3 in the North West, 1 in the South East.

Tuscany confirms its 10th place in Italy as number of cases (including residents and non-residents), with around 279 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (Italian average around 407 x100,000, yesterday’s figure). The notification provinces with the highest rate are Massa Carrara with 542 cases x100,000 inhabitants, Lucca with 355, Florence with 321, the lowest Livorno with 145.

Three hundred people in solitary confinement

Altogether, 330 people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment, or are symptom-free (9 more than yesterday, plus 2.8%).
There are 982 (more 48 than yesterday, plus 5.1%) people, also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people (ASL Centro 618, Nord Ovest 279, Sud Est 85).

People hospitalized in the beds dedicated to Covid patients today there are a total of 13 (one less than yesterday, minus 7.1%), none in intensive care (stable compared to yesterday).

A total of 8,941 people were cured (2 more than yesterday, plus 0.02%): 141 people “clinically healed” (stable compared to yesterday), that is, they became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection and 8,800 (more 2 compared to yesterday, plus 0.02%) declared cured in all respects, the so-called viral healings, with double negative buffer.

Today there are no new deaths

Zero deaths in the past 24 hours in Tuscany. There are therefore 1,131 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic divided as follows: 416 in Florence, 52 in Prato, 81 in Pistoia, 173 in Massa Carrara, 143 in Lucca, 90 in Pisa, 61 in Livorno, 50 in Arezzo, 33 in Siena , 24 in Grosseto, 8 people died on Tuscan soil but were residents outside the region.
The raw Tuscan mortality rate (number of deceased / resident population) for Covid-19 is 30.3 x100,000 residents against 58.1 x100,000 of the Italian average (11th region). As for the provinces, the highest mortality rate is found in Massa Carrara (88.8 x100,000), Florence (41.1 x100,000) and Lucca (36.9 x100,000), the lowest at Grosseto (10.8 x100,000).
