The eastern part of the Historic Center will be divided into three zones: North, which will work from Thursday to Saturday and will run from Axis 1 North to San Ildefonso and from the Republic of Argentina to Axis 1 East; the Central Zone will work Tuesday and Friday, and will go from San Ildefonso to Venustiano Carranza, also from the Republic of Argentina to Axis 1 East; and the South zone, which can be installed from Monday to Wednesday and will be in Venustiano Carranza to Nezahualcóyotl, from Pino Suárez to Eje 1 Oriente.

Dunia Ludlow commented that there was a coordination with the merchants to be able to comply with these conditions, which include that the stalls are no more than 1.20 x 2 meters and are installed with grids, in addition to the fact that only one person may work in that space, which must use a mask, face mask and antibacterial gel.

This morning the Plan to return to the new normality of the Historic Center was presented, which was advanced this week by EL UNIVERSAL, which includes a vehicle flow scheme with shared streets and others with controlled access, reduction of flows and control in shopping malls and in the reinstatement of commerce on public roads.

For the reduction of inflows, it was decided to carry out a gradual and orderly reopening in the Perimeters A and B of CH, with a rotating week where, starting next week, businesses with even numbers will be able to open Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the odd ones. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, everyone must work from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., schedules will be rotated every week, and on Sundays the Historic Center will be closed.

It was also decided to make a configuration of streets in the perimeter of action, with three models: Regular operation, where sidewalks and vehicle lanes retain current dimensions and uses; flexible streets, where the pedestrian space will be extended to half of the current vehicular stream; and pedestrian streets, where exclusive pedestrian space will be enabled both on sidewalks and in a vehicular stream space, in some high-demand roads where internal dosing measures may be implemented.
