The modified line A of the Angers tramway will come into service on Monday, January 4, 2021 in the morning. On this occasion, activities are planned with a service from the ONPL.
To mark the entry into service of this new line, several events are planned throughout the day. From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., portions of Galettes des Rois will be distributed to all passengers boarding the tram. It will be the same from 4 pm to 6.30 pm Seven bakeries from Anjou will provide the pancakes. In addition, musicians from the Orchester National des Pays de la Loire will perform in the tramway between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. then between 4 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
Christophe BÉCHU, president of Angers Loire Métropole and mayor of Angers, will unveil a plaque at the new Hôtel de Ville station (boulevard Bessonneau) at 11 a.m., in the presence of Pierre ORY, prefect of Maine-et-Loire, and Christelle MORANÇAIS, president of the Pays de la Loire region.
