The Chinese health services reported that the number of deaths in Hubei province, in which the city of Wuhan is located, had increased by 37 to 162 on Wednesday at the end of the day.
The number of people suspected of carrying the virus is estimated at more than 12,000. Infections have been detected in every province of China. The authorities also reported the first infection with the Wuhan virus in Tibet.
Three Japanese on a flight chartered by the Japanese government on Wednesday were found to be infected with the new corona virus, the Japanese channel NHK reported under the authority of the Ministry of Health. An American flight with around 200 evacuated landed in California. All passengers are monitored for three days in a special reception.
