The Ministry of Health has published this Thursday the update of the figures for infections, hospitalizations and deaths from coronavirus in Spain. Regarding Wednesday’s report, the total number of people infected by COVID-19 has increased by 6,393. With this, the national total of infected already rises to 3,247,738 people.
Health has also registered 356 new deaths regarding Wednesday’s report, Therefore, the official death toll since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 74,420.
Regarding the cumulative incidence at the national level, this Thursday is at 134.08 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, which supposes a rise of 1.86 points with respect to the last known data.
Basque Country and Navarra exceed 200 points of incidence
The areas with the worst data are still Melilla (518), followed by Ceuta (250), Madrid (235), Basque Country (206), Navarra (200), Catalonia (171), Asturias (161) and Canary Islands (139), all of them above the national average.
The only community that maintains a low risk is the Valencian Community (28). They are also below 100 points Estremadura (94), The Rioja (93), Castilla la Mancha (77), Galicia (73), Murcia (54) and Baleares (52).
