The shipment is part of the bilateral agreement for the production of the active ingredient in Argentina and later formulated and packaged in Mexico.
In the last week, 4,644,990 vaccines arrived in the country to continue the immunization campaign of the population against the coronavirus.
That number is made up of the 1,440,000 doses of Sinopharm that arrived last Saturday; the 549,600 from AstraZeneca, donated by Canada, which arrived on Monday; Pfizer’s 160,290, which they touched Argentine soil on Wednesday; and the 822,100 of the bilateral agreement with AstraZeneca, to which adds the departure of 1,673,000 today.
According to the figures updated this morning from the Public Vaccination Monitor, they were distributed in all the country a total of 57,419,814 doses, of which 52,396,912 have been applied so far.
Some 29,760,609 people started their vaccination schedule and 22,636,279 already have the complete schematic.
