Two users of thesenior center La Molineta de Petrerhave been hospitalized with symptoms ofcoronavirusand three others presented a low-grade fever yesterday although, at the moment, they are in good health and are still in the nursing home.
It should be remembered that it was the pastMarch 21stwhen the first two positive cases of coronavirus were known in La Molineta. The management of the center sent them the previous Thursday to the General University Hospital of Elda to be treated for other pathologies. However, when subjected to preventive tests to detect theCovid-19, the result was positive. Both died within a few days andPublic healthactivated the protocol of suspected cases in the nursing home. Since then, health professionals carry out a daily control of the situation of the residence and the Military Emergency Unit(UME) has already come, on several occasions, to carry out workdisinfection, both outside and inside the facilities.
The Ministry of Health has taken a new step today with regard to cutting information, since if yesterday data were not provided for those affected and deceased byresidencesToday they have not even been provided at the provincial level.Ana BarcelóHe has limited himself to pointing out that in the Valencian Community there are 459 affected residents, which represents 28 more than yesterday, 150 workers, also 28 more, and 98 deceased, which means 17 more. The only provincial data has been the number of residences with positive cases, specifically eight in Castellón, 20 in Alicante and 52 in Valencia.

Remember that according to the latest figures provided yesterday, thenumber of deceased in nursing homes in Alicante was 50. In the appearance on Monday, Barceló had reported that the most virulent outbreak was that of the residence of Domus Vi de Alcoy, with 32 deaths, which was followed by one from Alicante with four, another from Vila Joisa with three, two in Petrer and Onil, and one in La Nucía and Callosa d’En Sarrià.
