In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 199,414 people contracted the virus SARS-CoV-2 (1,730 more than yesterday, for a 0.9% growth; yesterday +2,324). Of these, 26,977 died (+333, + 1.2%; yesterday +260) and 66.624 (+1.696, + 2.6%; yesterday +1.808) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 105,813 (the count rises to 199,414 – as mentioned above – if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, ie counting all the people who have been found positive to the virus since the beginning of the epidemic). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.
There are 20,353 patients hospitalized with symptoms; 1,956 (-53, -2.6%; yesterday -93) are in intensive care.
