Hamburg’s First Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD) is in domestic self-isolation. A Senate spokesman for NDR 90.3 confirmed this on Monday. The reason is that his Corona warning app hit after the Federal Council meeting last Friday. Tschentscher wants to have a PCR laboratory test done on Wednesday – only then is a test meaningful. Until then, he had canceled all appointments and was working in the home office.
Hamburg’s Justice Senator Anna Gallina (Greens) is also in voluntary self-isolation, she was also in Berlin on Friday. The external representative of the Senate at the federal government and the EU, State Councilor Almut Möller (SPD), also went into voluntary domestic isolation.
