Click and Meet not lucrative for all stores

From the small shop in Bergedorf to the Alsterhaus in the city: Hamburg’s retailers are getting ready to open on Monday. However, the trade association Nord doubts that it is worthwhile for all traders to open the doors. Because then the operators would often have to pay all running costs. At the same time, income remained low. And: Owners who open it could find it more difficult to get Corona aid in the future.

Results from the MV summit will be announced today

The state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania joined forces with representatives of the municipalities, business and social organizations for the MV summit on Friday evening. The results of the deliberations are due to be published today at noon. The deliberations began very late in the early evening and lasted several hours. The main topic was how the resolutions of the Corona summit should be implemented. The federal and state governments had agreed to largely extend the lockdown until March 28, but to dare cautious easing in many areas. A majority from the SPD, CDU and Left Party in the state parliament in Schwerin supported the way on Friday morning. Above all the retail trade and the tourism industry, but also district administrators, schoolchildren and parents expected positive signals from the MV summit.

Lower Saxony wants to test in schools after the Easter break

After the Easter break, all pupils and school staff in Lower Saxony are to be tested. This was announced by the new Health Minister Daniela Behrens, who was sworn in in the state parliament on Friday. When she took office, the 52-year-old called for a “vaccination pact”. It is about creating perspectives from the lockdown. To do this, she wants to bring everyone involved around the table as soon as possible – including municipalities, doctors and aid organizations. The aim is “to remove supposed hurdles on all sides”. It takes the strength of everyone involved “so that the vaccinations against the virus happen quickly up and down the country”.

MV: Restaurateurs demonstrate in goods for perspective

Today restaurateurs and hotel operators want to demonstrate in Waren for a perspective out of the corona-related closure of their businesses. According to Sandra Kallisch-Puchelt, chairwoman of the Dehoga regional association Mecklenburg Lake District, up to 100 participants want to gather at the Neuer Markt (12:05 p.m.) under the motto “The suitcases are packed”. “We clearly bring the criticism that we were forgotten again at the Prime Minister’s Conference.” The perspective plan is missing. After the federal-state conference, there is still no date for a restart for the hotel industry. In the step-by-step plan presented, at least outdoor catering is planned as an opening step, but only in a few weeks.
