Corona cases in Flensburg Bar – guests have to be in quarantine | NDR.de – News – Schleswig-Holstein

Status: 07/28/2021 7:08 p.m.

Anyone who celebrated in the “Klähblatt” bar in Flensburg exactly one week ago (July 21) should now report to the health department and have to be in quarantine. The city announced.

Last Wednesday, many people visited the Flensburg bar “Klähblatt” on the ship bridge. As it turned out only days later, one of the guests was infected with the coronavirus – confirmed by a PCR test. Because, according to the city administration, the operators of the bar adhere to the corona rules in an exemplary manner and ensure good ventilation, originally only those who have symptoms typical of the corona should report to the health department.

City relies on the honesty of its visitors

Now, however, a second guest has tested positive for Corona. However, the result of the PCR test is still pending. The guest had demonstrably no contact with the other infected person that evening. Therefore, the situation must be reassessed, says a city spokesman. Now all guests should report to the health department who were in the Flensburg “Klähblatt” on Wednesday between 9 p.m. and midnight last week. Since the bar operator can no longer access the contact data from the Luca app, the city now has to rely on the honesty of the visitors.

Domestic quarantine for pub-goers

According to the city, it can be assumed that everyone who was inside the pub on the evening of July 21st are close contacts. That’s why they have to isolate themselves at home immediately – that is, go to quarantine at home.
