LINZ. During a protest on Saturday, July 3, on Landstrasse / the corner of Harrachstrasse, the vida union is collecting signatures for a corona bonus for all employees in the health professions.
For 15 months, employees in the health and social sector have been fighting on the front line against the corona pandemic. You have often risked your own life to protect that of others. However, tens of thousands of paramedics, nurses in private hospitals and security forces are still excluded from the federal government’s corona bonus, according to the union.
Under the title “The first with the virus, the last with the corona bonus”, vida wants to give a voice to the people who do important work for everyone in the health system. That is why passers-by on Saturday, July 3, at 10 a.m. on Landstrasse / the corner of Harrachstrasse in Linz, will be asked to support the employees’ concerns with their signature.
