Michael Schumacher’s health is a well-kept secret.

And now the German TV company RTL has acted to let it remain a secret.

The company has chosen to remove the F1 legend’s ex-sister-in-law, Cora Schumacher, from a reality series in fear that she will leak some news.

Ralf Schumacher’s ex-wife, Cora Schumacher, has been part of the German version of the reality series “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” during the initial episodes. A series where several celebrities are released into the jungle without help, to survive and compete against each other.

But the 47-year-old only managed to be in a few episodes, before she was suddenly removed from the series.

The reason is that the producers have experienced her as a bit chatty, and that they are worried that she will leak any information about Michael Schumacher’s health, according to Bild.

Has an agreement with the family

German RTL must, according to The Mirrorhave a verbal agreement with the Schumacher family never to talk about Michael’s health.

And the producers are said to have become increasingly nervous about how outspoken Cora Schumacher was during the opening episodes, which were broadcast live.

Cora is also said to still be in close contact with Corinna Schumacher, the F1 legend’s wife Bild.

Blamed it on illness

After Schumacher left the show, questions were raised about her disappearance.

RTL then wrote that the 47-year-old had become ill, and therefore needed to leave.

“She has had a bad cough, and has decided to leave as she is no longer well enough to participate in the program. We wish her all the best in the future,” wrote the show’s account Social Media.
