Wendy Guevara’s victory in La Casa de los Famosos México has been celebrated by many people and members of the LGBTTTIQ community, but the transgender actress Karla Sofía Gascón does not agree so much with them.
Karla Sofía Gascón, who participated in the Mexican film Nosotros los Noble, by director Gary Alazraki, repudiated Wendy Guevara’s participation in the Televisa-Univisión reality show and the use of the LGBT+ identity.
“I don’t give a damn who wins #LCDLFMEXICO #LACASADELOXXO #LTIENDADELF whatever it’s called. I don’t know who Wendy or Windy or Wondy is… what’s more, I’m fed up… with marketing, with communities and with the abuse of the use of certain characters and media by LGBT TRANS to obtain relevance”, expressed the trans actress on Twitter.
Gascón suffered several negative responses from some users of the social network, who called her “envious” for not having received the same appreciation, recognition and support from the LGBT+ community during her participation in MasterChef Celebrity Mexico, TV Azteca program.
“I have nothing to do with those people. I have no affinity with any, none or none, nor do I identify myself. I neither like what they do nor what they say nor do I believe them. Just like I didn’t believe so many who were by my side. Please: stop comparing me.
