Bangalore: During the Pakistan-Australia match in the World Cup, a policeman allegedly stopped a Pakistan fan who chanted “Zindabad” in support of his own team. The incident became controversial after its footage was circulated on social media. The footage from Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium has become controversial.

A section of fans chanted in support of Australia. Later, a Pak fan in the gallery shouted slogans in support of his team. Meanwhile, the policeman came to him and tried to stop him by saying that Pakistan cannot call Zindabad here.

But he asked the police that he had come from Pakistan to watch the match and who should he call Zindabad other than Pakistan. People call Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Then he asked why he could not say Jai to Pakistan.
