D’Elia is supported by the high-profile Italian journalist Enrico Mentana, who lashes out at Giambruno for “talking nonsense”, according to Ansa.

Giambruno’s TV career really took off after Meloni became prime minister in October. according to Sky News The Prime Minister has not commented on his partner’s latest comments.
