WASHINGTON – American military high-tech hardware left behind in Afghanistan along with team withdrawals will be used not only by Taliban , but also enemies United States of America (USA) around the world. The concern was expressed by the former US president Donald Trump in an interview.

Speaking on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News, the Republican leader criticized the President’s decision Joe Biden for pulling all U.S. troops out of the Central Asian country that problem. Trump described the subsequent chaos scene in Kabul as one of America’s “most embarrassing” moments.

Trump said tens of thousands of Americans and Afghans helping coalition forces could now be effectively held hostage by the Taliban. Worse, sensitive military technology left behind during an evacuation could quickly fall into the wrong hands.

Under his alternative plan to reduce the American presence in Afghanistan, Trump said: “People come out first and then I will take all the military equipment.”

“We have billions and billions of dollars of new, new Black Hawk helicopters, which are now going to be inspected by Russia and so does China and everyone else – because it’s the biggest in the world,” he said.

“We have new army tanks and all kinds of equipment, missiles, we have everything. I will take them out because I know (Afghan soldiers) are not going to war,” he said. Russia Today, Wednesday (18/8/2021).

The Islamist militant group, which has now assumed de facto control of the country, is known to have seized hundreds of military hardware including weapons, vehicles and heavy artillery. In a video released earlier this week, Taliban fighters can be seen showing off an advanced US-made Black Hawk helicopter that was left on the runway at Kandahar airport as Afghan troops withdrew from the region. Two Russian-made military helicopters are also seen in the video, although the blades are missing and in a state of disrepair.

Another video emerging from the troubled country captures insurgents flying through the skies in a Russian-made MI-17 helicopter, which is known to have been operated by the Afghan armed forces before being abandoned.
