Several warning shots were fired in the parking lot of the Woensel XL shopping center in Eindhoven on Saturday. A confused man waved a stick and a knife there around half past six in the evening and was eventually apprehended with the help of a taser.

The man walked in the parking lot of the mall with a knife and a large stick in the direction of bystanders. Not wanting to drop his guns, he approached the policemen.
The man refused to surrender and the police therefore fired several warning shots. Several shots can be heard on a video made by a bystander. Eventually, the man was knocked to the ground with a taser, a stun gun.
The video shows five or six officers surrounding the man, while he is hiding between parked cars. “On your knees, on your knees!”, the officers shout several times, pointing their taser or service pistol at the man.
Another video shows how the man is tasered, but initially just keeps walking.
The confused man was taken to the police station and was checked by a doctor.
