Competition with Airbus and Boeing
China introduces self-developed passenger aircraft
The development took twelve years and now China presents its first passenger aircraft designed entirely in its country. The C919 is said to be a direct competitor to the Airbus 320 and Boeing 737. The aircraft type’s customers are almost exclusively Chinese airlines.
