Comedy “Russian-style swingers” with actor Dmitry Nagyev in the lead role will be premiered in Latvian cinemas
Riga, October 15, LETA. The comedy “Swingers in Russian Style”, directed by Andrejs Ēķis and Dmitrijs Fiks, will be premiered in Latvian cinemas on November 12. The main role will be played by Russian actor Dmitrijs Nagijevs, the representative of the filmmakers Inga Zālīte informed LETA.
The script was adapted to the needs of the Russian market by Latvian writer Vyacheslav Soldatenko, who writes in Russian and is known as “Slava Se”. In turn, the main roles of “Swingers in Russian style” are a galaxy of Russian film actors: Nagiev, Irina Pegova, Olesya Sudzilovskaya, Ilya Noskov, Natalia Rudova, Ivan Zlobin and Darya Rudenok.
From November 12, Latvian cinemas will have the opportunity to watch the comedy “Swingers in Russian style”, which will be shown immediately after the premiere in Russia with the original title “Swingers”. Russia is the sixth country where a version of a Latvian feature film was filmed.
The film “Swingers” premiered in Latvia in 2016, while its versions have been the most watched films in cinemas for several weeks in countries such as Poland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Norway and Ukraine.
