Cologne-Sülz –
Because of an escaped venomous snake, a residential building in Cologne-Sülz was evacuated on Monday afternoon. The people in the ten-party house on Luxemburger Strasse at the level of Klettenbergpark had to leave their apartments, said a fire department spokesman. The animal is a “South African coral snake” about 20 centimeters long, which releases a neurotoxin when bitten.
