NEW YORK – New York authorities are investigating an electric skateboard explosion in a violent outburst that left an injured woman in Prospect Heights.
The incident occurred around 2:13 pm Sunday in front of 566 Vanderbilt Ave and Dean Street, according to the FDNY.
Fire brigade units responded to the incident, which shocked the Brooklyn sector.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was taken to New York Presbyterian / NY Cornell Hospital after suffering burns. There were no updates on her status on Monday.
The explosion remains under investigation.
