A father (40) and son (17) were assaulted last night in Breda by a group of young people. They had to be treated in hospital with facial injuries. Two men from Zevenbergen (22 and 23) have been arrested.
The father and son cycled home through the Valkenberg Park after a visit to a café. Here they got into an altercation with a group of five youths. This escalated after which the victims were beaten and kicked several times. Surveillance officers were in the park and were able to arrest two suspects. Police are looking for the others involved.
