Online service Microsoft 365 was hit by a malfunction on Wednesday morning. As a result, the online versions of word processor Word and e-mail program Outlook, for example, are difficult or impossible to reach.
Microsoft has on Twitter confirmed that its 365 service is experiencing problems. The outage occurred around 8 a.m.
On the website Allestoringen.nl thousands of malfunction reports have already been received from the Netherlands. The cause of the malfunction is unknown.
Microsoft says it is investigating the cause of the problem. The company is working on a solution. It is not clear how long the outage will last.
