They have approx. they have a single horror IP, Clock Tower, and Dusk Golem, a not-always-accurate insider (who has repeatedly found what he knows; just think of the events surrounding Silent Hill and Resident Evil) guessed that on Sunsoft’s second broadcast , there will be an announcement about this on April 20.
But he was also shocked that Sunsoft and developer WayForward Technologies did not talk about this game during the show. Clock Tower was actually the work of Human Entertainment on the Super Famicom (known around here as the SNES) and PS1. They were more traditional, atmospheric adventure games where Scissorman, the iconic killer of the series, followed us. They weren’t extremely successful games, but they still became fans of the IP, so it’s no coincidence that we hear that the Super Famicomos version of Clock Tower was the starting point of the survival horror genre (we’d go a little further back in time: we think Capcom Famicomos Sweet Home- he fulfills this role…).
Human Entertainmnent went bankrupt and Sunsoft bought the rights to Clock Tower, hence the rumors of a resurrection. Since Sunsoft itself woke up after a longer rest, it is possible that after Trip World, Gimmick!, and Ufouria, maybe Clock Tower will also get a modernized look…
