Cilic himself explained it through social networks: “I am sad to share that I have tested positive for COVID. I have been isolated and I was hoping to get there, but unfortunately, I still feel bad and unable to compete at the highest level. It breaks my heart to miss Wimbledon and for my grass court tour to end this way. I am looking forward to competing again next year!Instead, Nuno Borges enters the main draw as a Lucky Loser.
