Church Bomber Network Search Explores Jagakarsa

Special Detachment (Densus) 88 Anti-terror The police have arrested 10 suspected terrorists after the terror act suicide bombing in front of the Makassar Cathedral, South Sulawesi (Sulsel). The police continue to trace the bomber’s network Makassar Church, one of which is by searching the house of one of the suspected terrorists in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

The terrorist suspects were arrested by Densus 88 in Jakarta and its surroundings.

“Until now, in the DKI Jakarta area and its surroundings there have been 10 terrorism suspects who have been arrested by the National Police Anti-terror Special Detachment 88,” said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters at National Police Headquarters, Wednesday (7/4/2021)

Ramadhan revealed that Densus 88 has released a wanted list (DPO) in the development of the arrests of a number of suspected terrorists in Jakarta. The DPO featured four people, but only one was caught.

“Densus 88 has issued DPOs on April 3, 2021. There are 4 DPOs Number 1, 2, 3, and 4 on behalf of YI, AN, ARH, and NF,” he said.

“Of the four, DPO number 2 has been arrested. So of the 4, only 3 DPO suspects who have not been arrested,” continued Ramadhan.

As for Ramadhan, revealing the three DPOs on behalf of Yusuf Iskandar, Arief Rahman Hakim, and Nouval Farisi were also related to people who had been arrested a few days ago.

“Then the DPO is related to the development of acts of terrorism that have been arrested several days ago,” concluded Ramadan.

Previously, Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested a number of terrorists after the suicide bombing at the Cathedral Church, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The arrests were made in several places, including in Jakarta, Bekasi and South Tangerang.

At least five people have been arrested in connection with the terrorist network. After being questioned by the police, the four terrorists made a surprising confession.

The police traced the Makassar Cathedral Church bomber network to several areas, one of which was DKI Jakarta. The police ransacked the suspected terrorist’s house in Jagakarsa.
