KOMPAS.com – One TNI members with the initials Serka EM (45), a resident of Sukaraja Village, Buay Madang District, East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), South Sumatra, were killed stabbed.

The fateful incident occurred on Sunday (4/4/2021). The perpetrator was found to be a man with the initials DA.

Head of Sub Division of Public Relations of the Police OKU Timur Iptu Edi Arianto said the incident started when the victim was about to put his car into the garage of his house.

However, when the car was reversed, the victim did not see the perpetrator passing by on a motorbike behind him.

As a result, the motorbike that the perpetrator was riding was hit.

Feeling unacceptable to the victim’s careless act, the perpetrator was annoyed and eventually got into a verbal argument with the victim.

While he was arguing, the perpetrator got emotional then took out a knife and stabbed the victim.

“The victim was taken by his family to the hospital, but died. The victim really is a member of the TNI,” said Edi via text message.

The news of the victim’s death at the hospital was known by the perpetrator after returning home.

At that time the perpetrator was shocked when he learned that the stabbed victim was a member of the TNI. Because of fear, the perpetrator immediately surrendered to the police.

“His family suggested surrendering himself. The perpetrator is now entrusted to the South Sumatra Regional Police,” he said.

For the actions committed, the perpetrator was charged under Article 338 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for 20 years.

“Now the perpetrator is still being investigated, the motive is that the victim did not like being hit by the victim’s car when he was about to retreat in front of the house. At that time the victim intended to put the car into the garage,” he explained.
