BOGOR DISTRICT, KOMPAS.com – Kapolsek Cibinong AKP I Kadek Vemil said that his party was still investigating the cause of the death of the Koran teacher who was found floating in the well, Ciriung Village RT05 / 04, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

The police, he said, assisted by the Damkar rescue team, had evacuated the Koran teacher with the initials AM (28) from inside a dugout well which was covered in concrete.

He also confirmed that the woman’s body was immediately taken to the Jakarta Police Kramatjati Hospital for an autopsy and further examination.

“Until now, the cause of death for AM (28) is still in the process of being investigated,” said Kadek in a written statement.

Kadek explained that the incident began when AM (28) attended the Prophet’s birthday at the Khadijah Ibrahim Mosque near his house on Sunday (1/11/2020) at around 19.30 WIB.

At that time, said Kadek, AM chose to go home early with his two children from the maulid event at around 21.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the victim’s husband, M Kurniawan, was still following the Prophet’s birthday activities until 23.00 WIB, because he happened to be acting as a committee member.

The husband, who had just returned from attending the maulid event, was surprised to find that his wife was not at home.

Kadek said, the husband had broken down the door of the house which was locked from the inside. After successfully breaking in, M Kurniawan only saw his son sleeping in the room.

“The suspicion disappeared from there and the husband even conducted a search until Monday morning, but the wife’s whereabouts have not been found,” said Kadek.

The smell of water

The next day Monday (2/11/2020), M Kurniawan wants to take ablution water to perform the dawn prayer at his house.

But there was an oddity, he and a number of Koran students felt an unpleasant smell from the well water.

From there, according to Kadek, the search for victims began to find a bright spot due to suspicion of the stench.

The husband immediately reported to the local RT and asked a plumber named Mulyadi (42) to inspect the well.

During the examination, Mulyadi immediately saw a human figure in the well accompanied by a very strong stench. Seeing this, the husband finally reported the incident to the Cibinong Police.

“Receiving the report we immediately came to do the TKP processing,” said Kadek.

The results of TKP processing, continued Kadek, revealed that the origin of the unpleasant smell in the well came from the corpse in it, none other than the Koran teacher who had been missing.

“The victim is confirmed to be a woman with the initials AM, found dead in a well behind her house, the cause is not yet known,” he explained.

Previously it was reported, a woman with the initials AM (28) was found dead floating in the well behind her house in Neighborhood 2 Citatah Dalam, Ciriung Village RT05 / 04, Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java on Tuesday (3/11/2020) at 07.00 WIB.

The victim, who is also a teacher of the Koran, was first found by a plumber or plumber, Mulyadi (42).

Mulyadi said that the previous victim was reported missing since Sunday (1/11/2020) night after attending the Prophet Muhammad 1442 H Birthday event at the Khadijah Ibrahim Mosque.

“At first I was asked to help look at the well by her husband because the water was smelly. Now when I opened the lid it was heavy (concrete) then I checked with a flashlight that there was a human underneath.
