Food Safety

Albert Heijn, Aldi, Colruyt, Okay, Delhaize and Jumbo must recall chocolate biscuits from the Federal Food Agency. There could be traces of metal particles in the cookies.

This concerns Boni Selection Cookies chocolate in a package of 225 grams, with an expiration date of 13/09/2024. The cookies were sold in Colruyt stores from December 28 last year until February 16 today. Colruyt is also recalling the Merba Cookies double chocolate in a package of 200 grams and with an expiration date of 7/12/2024. That product was offered in Okay and Okay Compact from January 18 to today, February 16.

At Aldi, this concerns cookies with double milk chocolate from the Trader Joe’s brand in a package of 200 grams, with a best before date of 14/12/2024. The cookies were sold from December 20 last year to February 16 today.

At Delhaize, this concerns the Double Chocolate cookies in the 200 gram package, with an expiration date of September 12.

The supermarket chains ask their customers not to consume the products and to return them to the store. The purchase amount will be refunded there.
