Beijing:Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived on the scene with a warning against Russia using nuclear weapons against Ukraine. He said this in a meeting with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Xi Jinping said that to solve the nuclear crisis in Eurasia, nuclear weapons should not be used and nuclear wars should not be fought and the international community should oppose this.

Without naming Russia directly, Xi Jinping said he opposes the Russian invasion of Ukraine and Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threat.
Germany and the European Union are playing an important role in building a stable European security framework. Xi said China will support them to promote peace talks.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was criticized for strengthening ties with China and visiting China. Olaf Scholz said the Chinese tour was to oppose the use of nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine and that he and the Chinese president were able to say that no nuclear weapons should be used in this war.
