The first 5G Chinese commercial satellite successfully passed his first communication ability test a month after its launch into low Earth orbit, according to the Chinese private company Galaxy Space.
The achievement paves the way for sending other Internet service satellites that can complement 5G stations, the company details. This type of communication satellites, broadband and low Earth orbit, can help provide stable and fast signals in remote areas, such as deserts or oceans. Galaxy Space, founded in 2016, want to place hundreds of them to provide global 5G coverage.
