Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the United States deployed reacted to Washington’s statement that Beijing is allegedly helping Russian propaganda, conspiracy theories and disinformation about Ukraine. Chinese diplomats assure: “On the problem of Ukraine,” China takes a “fair and objective position, in which there is nothing reprehensible.”

They assured that Sino-Russian relations “are not allied and are not aimed at a third party.” In Beijing, as the leaders of the Russian Federation constantly do, they suggested that the United States “better rethink its actions carefully.”
Beijing officials lamented that the United States and NATO, “knowing about Russia’s security problems,” stepped up military assistance to Ukraine and helped it train military personnel. The Chinese also write that the West “rejected Russia’s proposal to negotiate and sign a peace agreement” with the Alliance.
In its response to the State Department, the Chinese Embassy repeatedly repeated Russian propaganda about “US biolabs in Ukraine”, “development of biological weapons”, as well as “falsification of videos and photos of victims of chemical weapons in Syria”.

Chinese Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang does not consider Russia’s war against Ukraine to be a confrontation between democracy and dictatorship. They consider it “a geopolitical game caused by the mentality of the cold war.”
Among the “misconceptions” of the State Department, the Chinese noted that the PRC allegedly “is on the wrong side of history by not voting for the condemnation of Russia in the UN General Assembly.” Beijing called it “truth” that “most countries” “have legitimate concerns and similar positions regarding Ukraine” and “do not approve of resolving disputes through war and sanctions.”
“Dialogue and negotiations are the only way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis,” the embassy writes, calling Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine a “Ukrainian crisis.”
Chinese diplomats reiterated that Beijing “stands for respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, including Ukraine.”
“China’s position on the Ukrainian issue is impartial, objective and irreproachable,” the Chinese embassy concluded.
